The Professional Council of the NWU has adopted a decision that the ISSF Referee Rules will be implemented as of 1 May 2026.
Due to the late adoption of the rules, the European Championships will still be held under last year's rules, as will the competition in Minchen. For the rifle and pistol disciplines, the first competition under the new rules will be held in Granada, and for the shotgun in Morocco, until which time a transitional period will apply.
The new rules are already being translated into Slovenian and will be published on the SZS website ( https://strelska-zveza.si/pravila-issf/ ) by 1 April. The rules for pistol and rifle have already been published.
Shooting judges who have a temporarily renewed licence are obliged to familiarise themselves with the new rules and to implement them.
