The Slovenian shooting team also participated in the international Grand Prix of Liberation shooting competition, which took place in Plzeň, Czech Republic, from 29 April to 3 May 2026, and successfully competed against strong international competition.
The most notable Slovenian achievements were secured by Urška Kuharič and Anja Prezelj, who both won bronze medals. Urška Kuharič achieved third place in the 50m small-bore rifle prone discipline with a score of 625.9 points, while Anja Prezelj took third in a pistol discipline.
The rifle event featured Lana Kužnik, Tara Potrč, Urška Kuharič, Vesna Mele, Patrik Cipot, and Gal Potrč.
Anja Prezelj, Eva Vodopivec, Renee Lenzi and Aleks Korun competed with a pistol.
They were accompanied by coaches Simon Potrč (rifle) and Andrej Brunšek (pistol).
